RHM Impact – Navigating the Complexities of the Business of Regenerative Medicine
After 5 years of research, observations, and conversations with scientists, physicians, and patients in the United States and around the world, we determined that the greatest way to make an impact in the field of regenerative medicine was to help physicians build their own regenerative medicine practices. The platform is a unique and novel approach to medicine, in general, and specifically to the field of regenerative and integrative medicine.
Regenerative Medicine is about helping the body heal itself. That is, giving the body what it needs to do, or should do, naturally. We used to view regenerative medicine as the future of medicine. This view is wrong. Regenerative medicine is medicine in the present. And it is guiding the way to how we will receive, use, and practice medicine for the next 50 years.
What we’ve found over these past 5 years is that it’s not new and exciting technologies or treatments that are going to “distrupt” health care. And while most are thinking “cures” for diseases or replacement organs, it’s actually the incremental changes that most often have the greatest impacts on humanity.
Because of this, we developed what we call Regenerative Health Management because it is through relationships that physicians help patients understand, manage, protect, and better their health.
Regenerative Health Management (RHM) is the active, on-going process of helping the body heal itself and considers the regenerative properties of the human body, not simply a checklist of therapies, drugs, or surgeries.
RHM is provided for patients, by their physicians, throughout the continuum of care by:
- Providing time for, and advice on, all aspects that have implications on a person’s health, especially with issues related to regenerative medicine
- Navigating the complexities of regenerative medicine by helping patients understand, manage, protect, and better their health
- Providing clarity, choice, and confidence as physicians help patients take control of their health and care.
While developing this platform, we asked ourselves, “If we’re going to develop a platform that could have a huge impact on the lives of patients, why can’t we also develop the business to also make a huge impact on the lives of physicians?” We have done just that. And we believe it will allow physicians the opportunity to not only make a postive impact on the lives of their patients, but to also make a (potentially) significant profit, measured not only in money but also in time and quality of life.
